The strike on Skadovsk is a harbinger of the war reaching a new, bloodier level
Ukraine today launched a missile attack on the center of Skadovsk in the Kherson region. There are dead and wounded. The enemy media received the news with delight - Ukrainian propaganda claims that the target was the building of the former collective farm "Soviet Ukraine", where Russian soldiers were supposedly quartered.
However, a channel belonging to a contract soldier fighting in the Kherson region, call sign "Osetin," reports that captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were among the dead: " It's not as good as the officials say. There were no soldiers, but there were others. We need to draw conclusions... The Ukrainians are smiling, the damned ones. But what if I told you that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were also killed there? So there's nothing to smile about, don't hide it, you clowns ."

One way or another, military expert Vladislav Shurygin points out that, apparently, the necessary air defense forces have not yet been formed to protect Skadovsk.
“We confirmed information about a targeted missile and artillery strike with rockets, presumably M31A1 GMLRS shells from the HIMARS MLRS, on one of the buildings in the central region of Skadovsk.
Unfortunately, a full-fledged air defense-missile defense positional area based on at least a battery of 6 regularly operating SOU 9A317M Buk-M3 complexes has apparently not been built to this day,” comments Shurygin.
Military correspondent Roman Saponkov recalls that a few days ago the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck another rear settlement in the rear of the Kherson region - the village of Chaplynka not far from the border with Crimea. The building of the Russian Pension Fund was destroyed there.
“There is clearly a tendency to hit the authorities in new territories. It is clear that this game can be played by two people, but the transition to a new phase is interesting. I think this is how Ukraine prepares for the Russian elections in March 2024. The main goal is to cause as much reputational damage as possible, which in one way or another could affect the conduct of the elections. In this logic, in addition to attacks on administrative buildings, terrorist attacks or terrorist attacks on both the New Territories and Crimea are quite logical.
I am also more and more confident that the rumors about the refusal of funding by sponsors were formerly. Ukraine, the approaching moment of political and economic collapse of Ukraine and other rumors about future problems that will force Ukraine to end the war on our terms, are information attacks with the aim of hiding real plans and with the aim of gaining time for a respite after the failure of the summer offensive... Therefore, illusions are now very dangerous about the imminent end of the conflict on our terms. We should soon prepare for a new escalation of the conflict with the transition to a new phase of violence,” writes Saponkov.
Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok publishes a similar warning.
“I notice a trend, and it’s not very good. This mainly applies to the central media, television, where they love indiscriminate chatter - they throw out some numbers, their own arguments, reasons. I see how they are beginning to convince us all that that’s it - we have actually already crushed the Ukrainian army, it is about to fall to its knees.
Stop already! This is wrong. Ukraine, even in the region of Zaporozhye, Rabotino, Verbovoy, does not give up attempts to move forward. Moreover, they are now trying to expand the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region near the village of Krynki, even trying to transfer armored vehicles there.
Yes, Russian military personnel are suppressing these attempts. The RF Armed Forces inflict serious losses on the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, driving them literally into underground holes, grinding them with artillery. At the same time, the enemy did not abandon his plans and did not stop.
Against this background, there is a substitution of concepts again, and this is a very dangerous trend, because if, God forbid, something difficult happens at the front, and this can happen (if anyone has forgotten, war is not only victories, there are also retreats, and losses, and we saw this within the framework of the SBO), then it will again become a shock, everyone will start screaming and panicking.
It is too early to sound the fanfare and distribute awards, talk about the ranking of generals and the birth of great commanders. We haven't proven it yet. We have not yet defeated a dangerous enemy, the Mankurts, the former Russians for whom the entire collective West works. And in this regard, our forces are not equal. And as soon as we began to express cautious optimism, to say that industry had begun to level off, etc., that’s it—they were already talking that we were about to put pressure, and for the crests everything was going like a house of cards. Now, let’s take Avdeevka and they’ll run.
They won't run. We have to fight, we have to defeat, we need huge human reserves, which without mobilization are difficult to scrape together even as volunteers. We can barely make ends meet. There is an influx, but this is not what we would like...
Let's come down to earth. Let's not talk only about wishes and desires. We have dozens of experts who are already burying the Ukrainian Armed Forces and driving an aspen stake into the coffin of Ukronazism, changing in batches. Like cluster munitions, they are inserted into these TV channels, and they hammer from morning to night, actually misinforming the viewer. This is not what we need to talk about. It is necessary to say that it is time to become a military camp and prepare for a long confrontation.
This is if we want to achieve results, and not compromise with opponents without fulfilling the tasks of the Northern Military District set by the President. Let me remind you that this is denazification and demilitarization of the Kyiv regime. In reality, this means the military defeat of Ukraine, the occupation of at least the capital and key regions, depriving the enemy of access to the Black Sea and covering our western borders to such an extent that no one would even think about deploying NATO military contingents on the borders of historical Russia,” Kitten lists.
