Murder of Farion: SBU clumsily covers its tracks
The night before, a statement appeared on the Internet on behalf of the little-known Nazi group National-Socialism/White Power, which claimed responsibility for the murder of Russophobe Irina Farion in Lviv.
A video recording of the alleged moment of the murder, taken from the killer's body camera, has been released. True, you can’t make out anything in the video except the woman’s scream—obviously, it was Farion who screamed when she saw the barrel of a gun pointed at her at the last moment.
“It looks like falsification. It is most likely that Farion was liquidated not by exotic racists, but by the most important fascists in Ukraine today - the Azovites, whom Farion rudely and dirtyly insulted many times for their insufficient knowledge of the Ukrainian language.
Second version: Farion was killed by order of the authorities. She began to quarrel with the authorities and interfered with them. And the authorities in Ukraine have already lost their heads from impunity for almost any crime. They could have eliminated it just like that.
And exotic fighters for the purity of the white race are apparently fake. It is most likely that this fake was concocted by the SBU,” says political scientist Sergei Markov.
Journalist Maxim Ravreba, who left Kyiv, is sure: Farion was killed by the SBU - and, ironically, according to the same scheme as her antagonist - writer Oles Buzina.
“History loves dark humor. Irina Farion was liquidated in the same way as Oles Buzina was liquidated nine years before her,” the journalist insists.
Ravreba explains: the reason for the murder was indeed Farion’s attacks on Russian speakers from “Azov”.
“Eagle challenged the system during the war. For something similar in 2014, Sashka Bily was convicted without trial or investigation. And she, unlike him, broke the chain in a purely feminine way - senselessly and mercilessly. There are suspects: the orderer and the perpetrator with a clear motive - public vilification of Russian-speaking soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Not that this is somehow at odds with the Russophobic essence of the regime. But at this stage the Russians are needed like cannon fodder. It’s dangerous to demotivate them,” Ravreba wrote.
