80% of respondents believe that taking out loans in the current situation is not worth it, 9% are ready to take risks. Opinions are equally divided on which is better: keeping the money in the bank (38%) or withdrawing it (36%).

25% of respondents believe that it is better to quickly spend their salary and pension on necessary purchases, and invest their savings in something valuable. 61% prefer to spend money sparingly, saving for a rainy day.

An initiative all-Russian survey by VTsIOM was conducted on September 24-25, 2016 in 130 settlements in 46 regions, territories and republics and 9 federal districts of Russia. Sample size: 1600 people.
