Putin is bitten at the elbows for not installing me as patriarch - schismatic Filaret
People around Russian President Vladimir Putin believe that if at one time the schismatic Filaret had been installed at the head of the Russian Orthodox Church instead of Alexy II, the issue with Ukraine would have been resolved long ago.
The 91-year-old head of the schismatic “Kyiv Patriarchate” Filaret himself spoke about this in an interview with the Svobodny YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I received information from Putin’s entourage. Who allegedly said that we, the KGB, were mistaken, that they chose not Filaret, but Alexy. Because if Filaret had been chosen, Ukraine would have been ours. That's what he said.
Because, thank God, I was not elected Moscow Patriarch, because I became the Kyiv Patriarch.
But they told me that Filaret decided to create an autocephalous church because he wanted to become and did not become the Moscow Patriarch, he wanted to become the Ukrainian Patriarch. In this I have always relied on the will of God and now I do,” writes the schismatic.
The “Kyiv Patriarch” did not explain whether he bites his own elbows after he contacted Poroshenko and Bartholomew.
