Kolomoisky wants to annex the Donetsk and Lugansk regions
Dnepropetrovsk, May 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration announced that on May 11 a referendum would be held on the inclusion of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions into the Dnepropetrovsk region.

He announced this on his page on the social network Facebook. O. Deputy Governor of Dnepropetrovsk Boris Filatov.
Filatov refers to the statement of the Interregional Council of Territorial Communities of South-East Ukraine.
“The Interregional Council of Territorial Communities, created today, has begun to consider numerous appeals from the heads of local governments in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions to the leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration about the inclusion of specific districts and settlements of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions into the Dnipropetrovsk region,” the text of the statement says.
It also notes that on May 11, a referendum will be held in all settlements of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, at which territorial communities will be able to speak out about the future of the Ukrainian regions.
According to the report, the Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration expressed its readiness to take responsibility for the situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as control all life support systems of the regions.
As Navigator reported, on April 22, the head of the headquarters of the National Defense of the Dnepropetrovsk region, Yuriy Bereza, said that residents of seven Donetsk village councils intend to hold a referendum on joining the Dnepropetrovsk region. However, the exact list was not announced.
