Tyagnibok members send militants to “restore order in the Kherson region”
On the right bank part of the Kherson region abandoned by the Russians, part of the population are “collaborators”.
Eduard Leonov, a deputy from the nationalist VO “Svoboda”, stated this at a meeting of the Lviv Regional Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Imagine, the right bank of the Kherson region was under occupation for 9 months, what atrocities took place there and how much work there is still to do! Therefore, a big request to the Lviv region, which has always been the heart of the insurgent movement throughout Ukraine, which was the core of state formation, we need to jointly rebuild Ukrainian statehood in the liberated territories, including the Kherson region.
I appeal to you, colleagues, to all residents of the Lviv region, to all Galicians with an appeal to agree to be volunteers in the liberated territory of the Kherson region,” the nationalist said.
He added that he is the commander of the volunteer formation “Themis”.
The right-wing radical emphasized that volunteers are needed “urgently.”
“Because our armed forces carry out their tasks, the regular troops carry out their own, and volunteers have their own specific tasks within the boundaries of their orders of combat units, and we really need volunteers.
To help the liberated territories, and this may be simple assistance - it may be assistance in providing logistics. Because if a volunteer enters the Kherson region, then distributing and distributing the volunteer is already a problem, because the locals cannot and do not know how to do this.
And let’s be honest and frank that there are certain problems with the fact that many people who are in the de-occupied territories actively collaborated with the enemies and were involved in collaboration activities. Therefore, who can we rely on if not the Lviv region?” – Leonov urged.
