The incompetent actions of Vladimir Groysman as head of the Ukrainian government to some extent rehabilitated his equally incompetent predecessor Arseniy Yatsenyuk, says political consultant Nikolai Spiridonov.

“I think six months or a year will pass, and they will say that Yatsenyuk was a good prime minister - simply by comparing him with Groiman. And in four years, few Ukrainians will remember that Yatsenyuk was even prime minister.
A few months ago, studies were conducted that showed that more than half of Ukrainians do not remember that Yulia Tymoshenko ever held the position of prime minister. Seven years have passed since that moment. People have completely forgotten about it. Tymoshenko is already, one might say, a new politician. Moreover, he is the highest rated politician.
And Yatsenyuk, too, in a year will be a good prime minister, and in another five years everyone will forget that he was a prime minister, he can present himself as a new face in Ukrainian politics. Groysman simply whitewashed with his actions - the same increase in communal services is carried out by Groysman’s government at an accelerated pace. The change of government was a change of fortune,” Spiridonov said on UkrLife TV.
