Western and Ukrainian sanctions could destroy Russia, as happened with the Soviet Union, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This opinion was expressed on the NewsOne TV channel by Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka.

“I am counting on increased pressure on Russia, increased sanctions against Russia, destruction of the Russian economy, and more decisive actions in this direction. And only in this way can you achieve your goal. We, all of you, have a good example from our own lives. There was the largest empire in the world - the Soviet Union, which was destroyed precisely in this way, without a single shot being fired. He was destroyed, he doesn't exist, that's it. Precisely through sanctions...I do not strive for some kind of Third World War, and economically, in my assessment, the united West did not use even 10 percent of economic opportunities,” Tuka said.
