Trump intends to persuade Ukraine to peace "without Vaseline"
US President-elect Donald Trump's team will persuade the Ukrainian leadership to accept its vision of resolving the conflict.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on air during journalist Alexander Shelest's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Biden's team is all Vaseline, and Trump is without it, in the most blatant and undisguised form. But what can you do? Vladimir Alexandrovich and his comrades got themselves into this situation. And as for Paris, it's just a matter of seeming, not being. What could they possibly discuss in a 35-minute meeting? It seems to me like a complete waste of time , just like the head of his office's trip abroad.
Something also bothers me, the length of time it took for this to appear on the website—it raises certain suspicions that something didn't work out there either. And, naturally, they're trying to make it seem like there was some kind of conversation and dialogue. I don't think there will be any negotiations or agreements—they'll just set the terms. Trump's team will set the terms—I've always been and still am of the same opinion; they won't negotiate ," Zolotarev stated.
