Tymoshenko: The fall of Kharkov is an instant defeat for Ukraine
Panic statements from a number of media outlets and military bloggers that the Russian offensive near Kharkov has slowed down are based on a report from one Chinese publication and do not correspond to reality.
Military expert Mikhail Timoshenko stated this on the Red Line television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Because the fall of Kharkov is immediately a defeat for Ukraine. That's it, hands up and hello, as they say - soldier, officer, kick. This gave the fact that half of their reserves, which were intended to ensure rotation along the entire “ribbon” along the entire length of the front, for the development, so to speak, of a counter-offensive (20 brigades)... Of the 20, 10 went to Kharkov, to the north. And now three brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to stop our advance in Volchansk and prevent us from capturing the city,” Tymoshenko said.
At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the advance of the Russian army accelerated in Chasov Yar and in the Kupyansky direction. The expert predicts that Russia will repeat the experience of the Soviet army, which in 1943 surrounded Kharkov and forced the Nazis to leave the city without harming the civilian population.
At the same time, Tymoshenko is sure that Kharkov could have been liberated at the very beginning of the Northern Military District, when special forces entered there, but did not receive an order to advance.
