Tymoshenko praises Akhmetov and his fellow party members for their reluctance to give Donbass to Russia
Donetsk, April 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Yulia Tymoshenko believes that Rinat Akhmetov is against violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“I have not yet had the opportunity to talk with Mr. Akhmetov, but I know for sure that all his public statements speak about the unity of the country and the impossibility of territorial split,” Tymoshenko said during a press conference in Donetsk, where she secretly arrived on a “rescue” airplane.
She noted that “The Party of Regions, perhaps for the first time, is saying that federalization is not acceptable, that it is a split in the country.”
“I think that this is, among other things, Akhmetov’s position,” Tymoshenko added.
“As for Yanukovych’s “descent” on Easter. I have little idea how he can do this. Will he be dropped from a plane with a parachute? Or will they be taken across the border in armored vehicles? In any case, this is absurd,” she commented on the information that Viktor Yanukovych will return to Donetsk on April 20.
Tymoshenko explained that she flew to Donetsk to meet with the mobilization battalion and conduct peace negotiations with the people who are in the seized administrative buildings. The results of the meeting with pro-Russian activists are not reported on the official website of Yulia Tymoshenko, although on the air of “Shuster Live” she announced an agreement reached - to hold a “round table”.
