About it says a publication by The Economist magazine, which provides updated data from the Big Mac index.

It should be noted that the Big Mac index was introduced by The Economist experts to evaluate exchange rates based on the idea that the cost of identical goods in different countries should supposedly be approximately the same. For ease of calculation, the cost of the Big Mac burger was chosen. However, other experts have repeatedly criticized this technique as unscientific.

According to The Economist, the Ukrainian hryvnia is supposedly the most undervalued currency in the world, with its exchange rate undervalued by 68,8%. Next come the Malaysian ringit and the Russian ruble. The most overvalued currency is the Swiss franc.
