Terrorist Ponomarev ruled out the possibility of the collapse of Russia
The plans of various experts that Russia will collapse if riots and separatist movements begin in the national republics are illusory dreams.
This was stated on the NTA television channel by terrorist, extremist, and foreign agent Ilya Ponomarev, who was previously a State Duma deputy, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ponomarev, even in such a scenario, at least 80% of the population and the current policy of the authorities will remain in Russia.
“Now many people in Ukraine hope that Russia will simply collapse, like the Soviet Union once collapsed, there will be a moat with crocodiles and so on. But I believe that such hopes are illusory, because even if all national republics fall away from the Russian Federation, 80% will remain. It’s just that 80% of the population of the Russian Federation lives not in national republics, but in Russian territories. Therefore, the character of the country will remain,” the extremist said.
“The question here is what the system will be like next. If nothing is done, then the inertial path of events means that there will be some Mishustin, Kiriyenko, someone else who is now part of the existing system in the Russian Federation. Of course, they will say: okay, we will reconcile with Ukraine, a truce, de-occupation, they will say something else pleasant for the West, but this will mean that the system will be preserved,” Ponomarev said.
