4541 people’s deputies voted for bill No. 239 in the second reading.
The bill provides for the abolition of registration of foreign investments, replacing it with formal information for maintaining state statistics.
In addition, the right to obtain a residence permit in Ukraine is given to foreign investors who have a significant participation in Ukrainian enterprises, but are not employed by the enterprise.
It is assumed that this will allow them to spend sufficient time in Ukraine to control the activities of enterprises.
The document regulates at the legal level the basic aspects of obtaining a permit to employ foreigners and a residence permit.
It is expected that this will simplify the attraction of foreign managers and qualified foreign workers, necessary in the first stages of development of a subsidiary in Ukraine.
