Tucker: Moscow is the best city compared to any American city
Moscow today is better than any city in the USA - with excellent service, food and transport. The fact that the Moscow metro is safe, and New Yorkers are afraid to go down to their subway, is an indicator of leadership in the world.
American journalist Tucker Carlson stated this at the World Government Summit in Dubai, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Carlson spent more than a week in Moscow and shared his impressions of the interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as about the largest city in Europe.
“The most radical thing I would say for myself in the 8 days I spent in Moscow is not just the leader of the country, who is of course impressive, it is the largest landmass in the world, and it is incredibly diverse linguistically, cultural and religious terms. It's hard to run a country like this for 24 years, whether you like it or not.
So an incapable person would not be able to do it. He is very capable, many of you know him, and you know it. What radicalized me, greatly shocked and alarmed me was Moscow, where I had never been. The largest city in Europe with a population of 13 million people. And it's much better than any other city in my country. I had no idea.
My father spent a lot of time there in the 80s when he worked for the US government and had almost no electricity. And now it is much cleaner, safer and more beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. It has better architecture, food and service than any other city in the United States.
