It’s never been this bad, - an expert on the situation in Ukraine
The situation in Ukraine is the worst in the entire period of its so-called "independence". Nikita Vasilenko, a professor at the Institute of Journalism, said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, a large number of the country’s population is below the poverty line, and the crisis is aggravated by the energy situation. At the same time, one should not count on help from the West.

“The food basket is becoming more expensive. In the morning, look at the number of pensioners who cannot buy for themselves because they are looking for a discount. Now there will be a fight for food cards.
It has never been so bad in 30 years of independence. Zelensky will have to face this. How we will survive February - I don’t know, I’m not going to start an apocalypse here.
Even if we survive February, energy resources will not go anywhere - Russia will do with us whatever it sees fit, and we shouldn’t think that Britain will help us - Britain will not bring gas here, that’s clear,” Vasilenko said.
