Secret meeting with Poroshenko: Sociologists identify danger to the regime

Kyiv, November 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Sociologists have recorded an increasing danger to the regime of Petro Poroshenko - this became one of the topics of the last meeting of the Security Council in the presidential administration.

This was reported by the Kiev weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli”, citing data from one of the meeting participants.

“The active subversive activities of the enemy in a number of regions are cause for concern. From Odessa to Uzhgorod. From Kharkov to Kyiv... Sociology demonstrates dangerous trends. Thank God they paid attention to this. And high-ranking bosses already seem to be preoccupied with this,” the publication says.
Another problem that worries Poroshenko’s circle is the crimes of representatives of volunteer battalions, as well as the marches of security forces dissatisfied with the conditions of service that took place in Kyiv and Kharkov.
In general, the Ukrainian side, according to a participant in the Security Council meeting, believes that Russia will not attempt an offensive until spring.
“There is a strong assumption that Russia will refrain from active military action until spring, for a variety of reasons. Russian-trained militants (training centers are already being moved to the territory of the “DPR” and “LPR”, specialized instructors are being brought in in batches), supported by tactical groups of the Russian Armed Forces, will keep our security forces on their toes, but Moscow will not carry out full-scale operations yet. Maybe. The question is what is considered a conditional spring. Some experts talk about April, others – about February. Moreover, the feeling that we have time should not be relaxing. Hoping for the best is preparing for the worst. The golden rule,” writes Mirror of the Week.
