Surprise for Poroshenko: Savchenko and Ruban could be released on Monday

The panel of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal has just addressed the GPU with an appeal, in which they pointed out the illegality of detention of People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko and General Vladimir Ruban, accused of allegedly preparing a coup in Ukraine.

This was reported on his Telegram channel by former deputy head of Viktor Yanukovych's administration, Andriy Portnov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

As Portnov wrote, the judges’ decision was “just made.”

“The court sent the case to the Brovary court. If the lawyers work properly, they could be released as early as Monday,” predicts Portnov.
