Svidomo Kyiv princes and the Verevka choir: Poroshenko celebrated the Day of the Baptism of Rus'
Memorial Day of St. Prince Vladimir, which is also considered the Day of the Baptism of Rus', was celebrated in Kyiv in the spirit of the latest political trends.

A few days before the holiday, billboards appeared in the city center advertising the “Svidomo” choice of the ancient Russian princes: Vladimir chose faith, Yaroslav the Wise - right, Daniil Galitsky - Europe, Vladimir Monomakh - unity, and Princess Olga - dignity.
On the Day of the Baptism of Rus', on Vladimirskaya Hill, in the presence of representatives of international organizations, members of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches, officials, activists and volunteers, the presidential administration announced “the performance of choral works by Ukrainian authors from the Middle Ages to the present day, accompanied by modern multimedia technologies.”
“The highlight of the program” was the performance of the National Honored Academic Folk Choir of Ukraine named after. Ropes, conducted by Anatoly Avdievsky.
