Students from Sevastopol will be able to undergo internship at the Russian Foreign Ministry
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, invited students from the Institute of Social Sciences and International Relations of Sevastopol State University to practice at the ministry.
“I invite student journalists to our Foreign Ministry press center. We have internship opportunities for international specialists and translators. We are ready to receive students in Moscow, there are all the opportunities for this, we are open to normal live interaction,” Zakharova said during a meeting with students at Northern State University.

The audience responded to the invitation with applause.
Zakharova assured that Foreign Ministry employees are ready to advise university projects related to international topics, and suggested one of the possible projects.

“Considering that there are many foreign military graves in Sevastopol, you as students could take up this topic. These soldiers have families who want to know the sad fate of their ancestors. It would be possible to make such an Internet project and present it. The topic of historical memory is very important, even if we are talking about soldiers who came here during the war,” Zakharova said.
She answered students' questions about Crimea and Sevastopol in the context of international politics, relations with Ukraine and the West, and the peculiarities of the work of journalists and translators. The diplomat invited students to continue communicating online and plan joint seminars and conferences.
The meeting ended with joint photography.
“I will be happy to publish a photo with you on Facebook. I’ll publish, you’ll publish, and then we’ll check in with each other. The same thing will happen on Instagram. The reaction of my Western colleagues on this matter does not concern me at all. It is important for me that you have a positive perception of federal officials from the mainland,” Zakharova said.
