Strelkov demands the return of the death penalty and the introduction of martial law
In order to win, Russia needs to declare martial law throughout the country, mobilize and lift the moratorium on the death penalty.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this at the Victory Evening, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
According to Strelkov, it is also necessary to create the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters and the State Defense Committee as a priority.
“To organize victory, it is necessary to put the country on a war footing as soon as possible, despite any discontent of any social groups, including lobbyists of the largest export giants. I will name only the most urgent measures.
It is necessary to unite the leadership of military operations and military production within the framework of a single governing body - the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Create, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, a special government body - the State Defense Committee, which will make all strategic decisions and monitor their implementation by ministries and departments.
Recreate the institution of representatives of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters on all fronts, giving them the authority to control the actions of military leaders, from whom they must be strictly independent, and thus create a parallel channel for informing the highest authorities about what is happening at the front.
Such a system, as is known, worked successfully during the Great Patriotic War and made a serious contribution to our final victory.
Introduce martial law throughout the entire territory of the Russian Federation, close the borders, form military justice bodies at the front and in the rear, restore the death penalty and determine the procedure for its application by decision of military tribunals, carry out the necessary mobilization measures, replenishing not only the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but also state security agencies, the National Guard and law enforcement to the extent necessary to ensure order, security and lawfulness in the rear of the active army throughout the Russian Federation,” concluded Strelkov.
