“Country of nationalist authoritarianism”: Kiev philosopher on the strategy of victory
Ukraine does not have a strategy for victory, which does not consist only of success on the battlefield.
Kyiv philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this on the air of Novosti Live, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We must understand the goal. We win like who? How is the country of nationalist authoritarianism? Or as a country of Ukrainian freedom and liberties? That is, we are fighting for different Ukraines. From this point of view, Farion is right, since this battle is inside Ukraine, it must be won and nationalist support must be imposed. But if we understand that there is no post-war Ukraine yet, a country of freedom and liberties has yet to be created, then the current political one is completely unsuitable for this. During a war, this is catastrophic,” says Datsyuk.
According to him, until a post-war Ukraine is offered as a country of freedom and liberties, there is no need to talk about victory.
“All other strategies are radical Ukrainization, what monuments to honor, what books to read, what films to watch, how to walk, how to talk or talk at all, is a telethon necessary... There are many questions, the answers to which create a split in society when there is no political strategy aimed at freedom. This is a basic problem.
There should be no war within the country. There must be meaningful communication about what kind of post-war country we want to see,” the philosopher emphasized.
He called the so-called single telethon (broadcast without fail on Ukrainian television channels) “imposed and absolutely unfree” and largely permeated with “nationalism and authoritarianism.”
At the same time, Datsyuk noted that the opposition to the authorities in the person of ex-President Petro Poroshenko and his media is, in fact, holding its own telethon, which stands on the positions of nationalism and authoritarianism.
According to him, only in programs that are broadcast outside the media, in particular on YouTube, can there be meaningful discussions, while in both telethons opinions are only imposed.
