“The Wall” will save Ukraine from wild Russian boars, – minister
Kyiv, October 17 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The “Wall” project needs to be implemented in the Chernihiv region in order to prevent wild boars from entering the territory of Ukraine from the Russian Federation.

This was stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Igor Shvaika, the department's press service reports.
According to the minister, the main factor in the disease of African swine fever is wild fauna, hunting, as well as the uncontrolled entry of wild boars into the territory of Ukraine from the Russian Federation, which has registered 700 cases of African swine fever over the past few years.
According to him, losses from this disease for pig farming can reach millions.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk visited the Kharkiv region yesterday to inspect the progress of the "Wall" project on the border with Russia . Following his visit, he announced that a separate department will be created within the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine to implement the project.
