“They will become target number one” - Karasev told why Rada deputies are not allowed into the trenches
If deputies of the Verkhovna Rada en masse go to the front, the Russians will deliberately shoot them in order to deprive Ukraine of statehood.
Verkhovna Rada deputy, former member of the Servant of the People presidential faction Yevgeny Shevchenko stated this on the channel of Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The Verkhovna Rada is plenipotentiary if its composition is at least 300 people’s deputies. In order for the Verkhovna Rada to vote, we have norms when 300 votes are needed - changes to the Constitution, overcoming the president’s veto. But when we have 299 deputies - that’s it, the Verkhovna Rada is not authorized, it becomes useless, any bill and resolution of such a Verkhovna Rada will be illegal.
When someone wants to send people’s deputies into the trenches because of their bile, because of their toxicity, people’s deputies will become the first targets, important targets. Because Putin and his government clearly understand constitutional law, then Putin will achieve his goals - the destruction of the state. When there is no authorized Verkhovna Rada, that’s it,” Shevchenko assured.
At the same time, he criticized his colleagues who went to the front.
“Engage in populism? Take a machine gun, go to the second line in Kherson and sit there in a trench pretending that you are fighting? It’s kind of like, you know, an activity. This is not for me. My conscience is clear,” the deputy said.
"Many people sat there and took selfies, there were some. They sat near Mykolaiv, near Kherson," confirmed Vadim Karasiov.
It should be noted that in Ukraine, a bill introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers to the Verkhovna Rada on "improving certain issues of mobilization, military registration, and military service" has caused a wide resonance . It allows blind disabled people to go to the front, but not deputies.
