The US unleashes a Polish dog on a Russian bear
The unfriendly rhetoric towards Russia by Polish President Andrzej Duda, including during his visit to Kyiv, is explained by the fact that relations between the United States and Russia are deteriorating, and Poland is trying to do what Washington needs.
Director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Poland is a strategic partner of the United States, and Poland depends on the United States much more than the United States depends on Poland. Therefore, Duda, like any Polish president, acts with an eye on the United States. Now Russian-American relations are on a downward trajectory. It is obvious that Polish-Russian relations should worsen. This explains the decision of the Polish regulator on Gazprom, and Duda’s unfriendly rhetoric and everything else.
Poland views Ukraine as, on the one hand, a space for pursuing its own geopolitical ambitions, and on the other, a space for fulfilling obligations to a strategic partner,” Belashko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv, the presidents of Poland and Ukraine officially confirmed the continuation of the Russophobic course.
