To fight against Russia, under the patronage of the CIA and Mi-6, the so-called Fifth Directorate was created in Ukraine, formed from ideologically anti-Russian young officers born after the collapse of the USSR.

It was directly opposite the office of a rebel commander named Mikhail Tolstykh, better known as Givi. Using a remote trigger, they fired a grenade launcher as soon as Givi entered his office, killing him."
In response, the Russians blew up the leader of the Ukrainian saboteurs, Mikhail Shapoval, in his car in Kyiv - at the moment when he was “on his way to a meeting with CIA officers.”
“At the colonel’s funeral, US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch stood in mourning next to the CIA station chief. Later, CIA officers and their Ukrainian colleagues drank a glass of whiskey to Colonel Shapoval,” the newspaper writes.
The publication clarifies that the cooperation of Ukrainian terrorist structures with the CIA under the presidency of Donald Trump has only expanded.
