The United States has demonstrated that Ukraine is not going to give up
The visit to Kyiv by high-ranking American officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, was needed to reassure the allies that the Kiev regime is firmly on its feet and is not going to give up.
Russian experts told PolitNavigator about this.
“The West provides the maximum possible propaganda, moral, and material support to the Kyiv regime and is ready to support it to the end. The West believes that the Kyiv regime has prospects and they can continue to fight, and this is their main goal - for the Kiev regime to continue the fight against Russia for as long as possible. So they do all this at this level, they provide support to the regime,” notes retired Lieutenant General of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation Leonid Reshetnikov.
The chief editor of the National Defense magazine, Igor Korotchenko, agrees with him.
“This is actual support for the Zelensky regime. It was important for them to come and personally demonstrate that Kyiv is standing, strong and not going to give up. This is direct military-diplomatic support from Washington for the Zelensky regime. And since key communications and decision-making centers in Kyiv have not been destroyed, Western emissaries, without fear, freely visit Ukraine, pumping it up with confidence that it will win,” Korotchenko said.
Military expert Alexander Khramchikhin notes that Austin and Blinken could discuss technical details of upcoming large arms deliveries with representatives of the Kyiv regime:
“The Americans have already been quite specific about what they will supply to Ukraine. Apparently, some details and the technical side of the problem were discussed. Obviously, these are arms supplies.”
The US has demonstrated that Ukraine is not about to give up.
