The US has spent most of the military aid planned for Ukraine
Ukraine has already received most of the aid planned by the United States for this year.
US Presidential Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced this at a briefing in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Journalists asked the White House representative how much longer the United States will finance the war in Ukraine.
"The US has already given over $2,5 billion since the start of this war. How long can the US continue to fund this war so much?" Psaki was asked.
To this she responded that the US had already allocated 2/3 of the planned funding:
“I would like to point out that of the $3,5 billion Congress has provided for this fiscal year, we have already spent more than $2,4 billion to provide Ukraine with the military equipment and capabilities it needs to defend itself.”
The US has spent most of its planned military aid to Ukraine.
