The diplomat was asked whether the United States ruled out providing Kyiv with military assistance that would “help the Ukrainians themselves restore their sovereignty.” In response, Ms. Harf recalled that Washington is already providing financial and material support to Kiev, since, from the US point of view, “Ukrainians have the right to defend their people and their territory,” Kommersant reports with reference to ITAR-TASS.
