In Georgia, at one of the training grounds near the city of Akhaltsikhe, joint demonstration exercises of Georgian, American and Ukrainian units took place.
The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In particular, Georgian paratroopers and Ukrainian marines carried out actions to repel the advance of a mock enemy.
Their training task was to stop the enemy, and then carry out a counterattack and block him in the mountainous area.
“First, Dana self-propelled artillery mounts and RM-70 multiple launch rocket systems worked on targets. After the artillery launched a fire strike, Georgian anti-tank units destroyed the remnants of enemy armored vehicles using the Javelin ATGM. Next, tank units began work and, with the support of Georgian infantry and Ukrainian marines, carried out counter-offensive actions,” the report says.
The General Staff emphasized that special attention was paid to medical evacuation - engineering, artillery and tank units, including Georgian armored vehicles, took part in its development.
