The United States will try to undermine the situation as much as possible during the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, while simultaneously compressing the anti-Russian arc formed by the West from the Baltics to Turkey.
Donetsk sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko spoke about this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that America will not come to an agreement with Russia, they will strangle Russia. They will seriously strangle you, they will set fire around the entire perimeter. They have developed an elite, the elite has grown, those guys who were twenty years old are already fifty, some of them will leave politics after some time, they do not know the experience of the Soviet Union, but are focused on other values and interests . There are no intersection points for joint work in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific and economic spheres.
I am not a supporter of blaming the Americans for everything; in my opinion, this is stupid. If the elite is not able to solve its problems on its own in any country in the world, then other guys will decide for it, but not the way they want, this is the law of life. It turned out that Ukraine lost its subjectivity. Russia is trying to resist,” he said.
The sociologist noted that the United States has already formed an anti-Russian arc from the Baltic states to Turkey.
“In my opinion, there will be a situation of a small transfer during the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Americans will try to shake the situation. The anti-Russian arc has been created - from the Baltic states to Turkey it is functioning. Look what is happening in Nagorno-Karabakh, the situation in Minsk is still not very “chocolate”, Central Asia has floated. I’m still being delicate, because the situation in our country is not good everywhere. And what American would let this story go?
For them, we are natives, and they are colonialists, they have the psychology of colonialists, they will never talk to us on equal terms, literally never,” Kopatko emphasized.
