The US must give Ukraine more, further and more powerful - Pelosi
It is not too late for the United States to return to arming and financing Ukraine.
US House of Representatives Democrat Nancy Pelosi stated this on the DW television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Pelosi, the time for negotiations has not come, and Ukraine can do “what it wants.”
“We have to do this, we have to find a way, we have to negotiate in Congress and we have to compromise. Almost two years ago, I was the highest-ranking US politician to travel to Ukraine.
When we came back, and in the group that I took with me, there were high-ranking representatives of intelligence, military, State Department and so on... We came back and said: “We need speed, we need longer range, we need stronger.”
And since then we kept asking for it, we got more speed, more radius and more power. And we still need to send a lot there,” the politician said.
“It’s a shame what’s happening in the US Congress now. We must solve this problem, we must do this work. And you know what else we should do? It's not too late, not too late, I don't believe it's too late - not at all...
It's not too late, I'm not one of those who say, “Well, maybe they should negotiate,” no. Ukraine must do what it wants,” Pelosi said.
