Speculator Soros demands from the EU aid for Ukraine in the cosmic amount of $50 billion.
Kyiv, January 08 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – To stabilize the Ukrainian economy, an amount of $50 billion is urgently required, said American financier and well-known speculator George Soros in an interview with the Financial Times. Currently, EU authorities are considering the possibility of providing assistance to Ukraine totaling about 2 billion euros. There is simply not a lot of money in the EU budget for these purposes.

“The leadership of the European Union treats Ukraine as just another country in need of financial assistance, not understanding that the crisis on the eastern borders of the EU poses a more significant threat to the economy of the European Union and the very survival of the EU than the upcoming elections in Greece,” the publication quotes Soros.
“Financial assistance to Ukraine should be considered by EU countries as protective actions,” he says, calling on the EU to find an amount unaffordable for the crisis-ridden economy.
In his opinion, a new assistance program for Ukraine should be agreed upon in the current quarter. He believes that world organizations, including the International Monetary Fund, should participate in it, along with the United States and EU countries.
Ukrainian media previously speculated that George Soros could become head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). Channel 112 reported this, citing several sources in the Verkhovna Rada and people close to President Petro Poroshenko.
Currently, there are “charitable” foundations founded by George Soros in more than 50 countries. In Ukraine, Soros maintains the Revival Foundation, which largely helped the Maidan.
Speculator Soros demands the EU to provide Ukraine with a stratospheric $50 billion in aid.
