The state of Ukrainian finances was better even under Goncharuk – Bortnyk
Ukraine’s budget indicators for 2021 are better than the budget indicators for 2020 after the sequestration in the spring of 2020, but when compared with the budget that was adopted by the Goncharuk government, it becomes clear that the indicators have worsened.
This was stated by the director of UIAMP, Ruslan Bortnik, on the NEWSONE TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Our parliamentarians compare one Shmygal budget with another Shmygal budget. Let me remind you that the sequestration passed in March. If you look at the budget of the Goncharuk government, then the initial budget for 2020, adopted in the fall of 2019, then there are different numbers.
If we compare this budget with that budget, then the income of this budget is 20 billion hryvnia lower than the income of Goncharuk’s budget. If we compare the deficit, it has tripled. In that budget it was about 100 billion, during the sequestration it was made about 200, and now it is 270.
To plug all these holes, we needed to raise 600 billion in debt this year.
Inflation has increased – it was 5%, now it is 7,4%,” said Ruslan Bortnik.
