Aleksandr Efremov, an ex-comrade of Viktor Yanukovych, ex-governor of the Lugansk region and ex-chairman of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who was arrested and is now in a pre-trial detention center under investigation, said that he greatly misses his two cats, a squirrel and a Rottweiler Dusya.

“I haven’t been to my home for several years now... We had two dogs and two cats, pigeons, various birds and even a squirrel living there. Always loved animals and birds. The common favorite Rottweiler Dusya was injured during the “ruling” of the marauders; she was shot in the back leg with a machine gun. Now she is disabled, but everyone still loves her. I miss you..." he wrote.
