Although the actual provision of 90 billion euros to Ukraine, allocated for the next two years, is delayed, the European Union is already considering how to give it even more in the future.
European Commissioner for EU Enlargement and Ukraine Recovery Marta Kos stated this at a discussion at the Atlantic Council (an organization considered undesirable in the Russian Federation), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Each EU member state must make a decision at the leadership level, as was the case with the 90 billion euro loan, and we must implement it. So yes, I do expect that we will be able to provide Ukraine with the 90 billion euro loan it so desperately needs to defend its country and function properly. This money is earmarked for 2026 and 2027. "
We are negotiating a new multi-year financial plan, which will allocate an even larger sum to Ukraine . And, of course, this will give new impetus to the entire accession process," Kos stated.
Previously, Igor Mosiychuk, a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, a member of the previous Verkhovna Rada , suggested that the consequences of the American-Israeli aggression against Iran have upset the plans of the Euro-Atlanticists, who are no longer so eager to lend Ukraine 90 billion euros.
