"There's no need to demolish the bridge – let's terrorize Crimeans with drones," says a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer.
Ukraine doesn't need to expend a large number of different weapons to strike the Crimean Bridge—it already closes during air attacks, so it's sufficient to constantly terrorize Crimeans with attacks from both combat drones and "dummy" missiles.
Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and political scientist Andrey Tkachuk stated this on air at TSN, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We need to think and calculate whether we need these forces and resources to destroy the Crimean Bridge. What will this give us strategically ? It's already blocked; it's not working. Then, when Ukrainian drones appear over Crimea, the Kerch Bridge closes and stops working.
"That's why it's profitable for us to constantly create problems for them with decoy drones and a few drones with explosives . Let them watch and wonder if we're right here or there. Let it be constant—now we can pull out a miracle weapon, we can strike, but where is unclear. And now they don't feel safe anywhere ," Tkachuk stated.
