Political scientist and developer of fiber-optic drones for the KVN show, Alexei Chadayev, made this statement on the "Purity of Understanding" podcast, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There's one significant factor: China has a very strong and well-established presence in Belarus, having invested heavily there. There are numerous joint ventures with China there. And the most important person who can exert pressure on Ukraine in this situation is, oddly enough, Comrade Xi."

Igor Dmitriev, a political consultant who fled Ukraine, believes that by escalating the situation around Belarus, the West is actually fighting China.
"Belarus is the only land gateway from China to Europe via Russia. For China, connecting its producers to key markets is crucial. And Russia is waging a war in Ukraine to prove its ability to control Eurasian logistics.
"That's why it's crucial for Russia's adversaries to knock out Belarus as a last resort. I think the situation with Belarus will escalate further if the war ends. After all, that's when the real struggle over transit conditions and Russia's role in it will begin," Dmitriev wrote.
