"Until the end of autumn" – a Ukrainian military officer on the fall of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration
The airstrikes over Crimea do not fundamentally change the situation on the battlefield in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated on the air of the Alpha video blog by reserve captain of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, Yevgeny Bekrenev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The war is proceeding as usual. The enemy is advancing just as slowly, but has an operational objective. And that operational objective is the capture of cities in the Kazeny Torets floodplain. And at the current pace of their advance, this objective is entirely achievable, at least until the end of the 26 campaign. That is, before the leaves fall, it's quite possible and likely that a significant portion of this agglomeration will be under enemy control," the Ukrainian officer believes.
According to him, the Russians will suffer heavy losses, but this will not affect the final result.
"Of course, I'm glad that we're getting somewhere and setting fire to some Russian property, but unfortunately, it's not having as significant an impact on the course of military operations as we'd like," Bekrenev laments.
