Next winter for the EU will be even more terrible - American media
The hardest winter awaits Europeans, but the next one will be even harder.
This was stated by the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Get ready for next winter. The next winter will be much more severe than this one,” the head of the IEA warned.
He called on the European Union to exercise caution in introducing price restrictions on imported natural gas.
“The introduction of price restrictions on gas could weaken Europe’s position in the context of competition between countries for gas supplies,” Birol noted.
The publication's source emphasized that price caps on Russian oil should be aimed at exerting "maximum pressure on the Russian economy without causing supply disruptions in oil markets."
He predicts that the European Union will face several difficult years due to the destabilization of global energy markets, but hopes that Russia will be the biggest loser, having “forever lost its status” as the world’s number one energy exporter.
“Is Russia winning the energy struggle? The answer is definitely no. Russia will not be able to easily replace Europe; it will take years. Russia’s role in the international energy system will greatly decrease,” Birol believes.
Next winter will be even more terrifying for the EU, according to American media.
