In Russia, a decision has been made to arrest in absentia the young Ukrainian prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko, who previously illegally organized the prosecution of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Alexander Vitko, and now supports the prosecution in the case of high treason against ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.
Chief Kravchenko, the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios, has already stated that his subordinate will be provided with security, allegedly due to the threat of an assassination attempt on Yanukovych’s accuser.

Matios explained that the Russian court’s arrest decision indicated Kravchenko’s address, which was obtained from the real estate register of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in response to a request for a passport with registration in Lugansk.
Matios shared his concerns: using the same method, unknown individuals learned the address of Colonel Shapoval, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Main Intelligence Directorate colonel who was recently blown up near the center of Kyiv.
Prosecutor Kravchenko is indeed in danger, but most likely in the event of a provocation orchestrated for the purpose of promoting Matios, a source in the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine stated in an interview with the Ukrainian publication "Golos.UA."
“The chief military prosecutor compared the situation with GUR Colonel Shapoval, who was killed in a terrorist attack. This means that now Prosecutor Kravchenko himself, who will be provided with state security, may turn out to be a victim of someone’s provocation or direct assassination... For many politicians, such a development in the Yanukovych case may seem quite beneficial,” said the publication’s interlocutor close to the investigation into the murder of ex-State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkova.
“He should staff security from different departments, or even better, add someone from private companies... At one time, Denis Voronenkov, as one of the key witnesses in the same Yanukovych case, was also represented by the state security, but we all saw that this It didn’t save him, on the contrary, it created a lot of questions about how adequately such security acted at the time of the crime, who could actually be the orderer and perpetrator of the murder, and whether their traces lead somewhere in Ukraine,” says a source in the GPU.
