The assault by battalions of the Poroshenko administration was organized by an officer from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, – SBU
Kiev, February 04 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatyeva) – The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Valentin Nalyvaichenko, announced the arrest of a high-ranking military officer from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a representative of the Donetsk People's Republic, who allegedly coordinated and organized yesterday's storming of the presidential administration.

“We have detained and arrested: a citizen of Ukraine, a lieutenant colonel of one of the leading units of the General Staff of Ukraine, Chernobay, born in 1974, as well as his accomplice, a terrorist, a representative of the DPR, who together with him organized subversive activities in the Ukrainian army,” Nalyvaichenko said.
According to him, yesterday’s attempt to enter the AP building by a group of battalion fighters was “a provocation organized by these individuals.”
He claims that “the traitors, with the coordination of Russian special services, planned armed provocations near the parliament building in Kyiv on Thursday, but SBU officers managed to thwart these plans.”
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday, protesters peacefully dispersed from law enforcement outside the presidential administration building, despite several attempts to break into the building. The presidential administration promised them a meeting with Petro Poroshenko.
Today, the battalion commanders disowned the protesters, and law enforcement officers began making arrests.
