Journalist Pavel Sheremet, who was killed this morning, is the last Ukrainian correspondent who asked Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko about the work of his offshore companies.

Igor Guzhva, ex-head of the Vesti holding, where Sheremet worked, reported this on TV channel 112.
“Pavel Sheremet was a very harsh journalist, he, in principle, always criticized and denounced someone. In principle, this is the job of a real journalist - to expose vices, criticizing, including the current government. “I want to remind you that when the last press conference of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was held, the question about offshore, an uncomfortable question, was asked by Pavel Sheremet,” Guzhva said.
