“Chance for a breakthrough” - Kyiv has halved its northern group of troops
In order to contain the Russian army in Donbass, the Ukrainian command has halved its force in the north.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on his video blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our command is much more flexible and resourceful.
Now dill, believing that we are moving forward with small forces, that we are ready for a war of attrition. And the most important thing is that we are not ready to expand the Northern Military District line. This is their clear conviction.
And now, believing in this, they began to drag brigades from their northern direction. Their northern group was reduced by almost half. Let me remind you that they have four large strategic groups,” said the military correspondent.
According to Khairullin, this could be a good chance for a big breakthrough.
“If we struck with all our might, we could break through the front to depth anywhere. But there will be high one-time losses.
And there is even a fairly serious point of view that it may be better to make a serious breakthrough, to suffer one-time losses, but in the long run these will be smaller losses,” he concluded.
