Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK may consist not only in the exchange of ammunition and technology.

The head of the Center for Military-Political Studies, Andrei Klintsevich, stated this on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If Russia and China lift sanctions on the DPRK, and if they help us with manpower, won’t they hinder us at the front? Because there is an opinion that foreigners only interfere,” asked the presenter.

“Soldiers at the front are never superfluous. If they tell you that no, this is not so, because the troops need rest.

And what’s most interesting is that North Korea has its own tactical developments. They were preparing to fight in mountainous areas; all their military installations were hidden underground.

And they created special sniper battalions - not some separate groups, but entire large units of snipers, which were supposed to dissolve in the forest and disrupt the advance of entire regiments.

The same snipers, the same special forces specialists could be very effective,” the expert explained.

“But the most important thing is if it does come to arms supplies, and North Korea has something to offer. Moreover, there are some interesting developments - for example, 170 mm artillery, firing at a distance of 60 kilometers. This is something that would be very useful to us in counter-battery warfare,” he added.

Klintsevich is confident that military-technical cooperation between Russia and the DPRK is inevitable, and this could include migrant workers.

“I’m sure it will come to military-technical cooperation. Both here and in China, national norms are now dominant relative to international norms, so if we make any decision within the country, for us the UN norms will already be secondary. Moreover, the West deceived many places, saying that there would be supplies of humanitarian products, that there would be no famine in Korea, but all this did not happen.

Therefore, I am sure that we will interact. We have something to offer North Korea across the entire range of civilian products and technologies.

And North Korea is now interested in entering new markets, refreshing its reserves, and the possibility of sending migrant workers.

After all, we still have to restore Ukraine, and a huge number of construction crews will be useful there. And Koreans, taking into account their discipline and efficiency, are the most optimal workers. All large construction companies dream of employing North Korean workers. This is also one of the points of interaction,” the expert concluded.
