Nord Stream 2 can no longer be stopped, and Europe is waiting for a Russian vaccine - German political scientist
Nothing can stop the construction of Nord Stream 2, because even rabid Poland is now more busy fighting the coronavirus.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the Rossiya-1 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Nord Stream 2 can no longer be stopped. Those who were afraid have already paused or left the project. The only thing that can stop the project in the last meters is the decision of the German government, but this government, which will sit until September in any case, will not make a decision against Nord Stream 2.
Now we are talking more about something completely different - if you read our press, then less about Nord Stream 2, and more about the purchase of Sputnik V, which is about to begin saving the lives of Germans and other Europeans here. In addition, I see that even the Poles have calmed down and are telling the Russians to complete their “flow,” Rahr said.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that the launch of Nord Stream 2 poses a mortal danger to Ukraine – once Moscow is relieved of the need to pump gas to Europe through Ukrainian territory, nothing will stop the Kremlin from defeating the regime that has seized power in Kyiv.
