Sevastopol State University Department Head Tatyana Odintsova has once again found herself in the news on Telegram's SMERSH. She has already had to publicly explain the presence of Ukrainian symbols on her profile picture , and now questions have arisen about her children, who are studying abroad and openly displaying their support for Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The teacher did not take the first public reprimand seriously and did not start revising her social pages, leaving many photos with the Ukrainian flag and comments that discredited the author.
If Odintsova attributed the previous photo with the Ukrainian flag on her chest to an emotional reaction from the events of February 24, 2022, then the subsequent ones already show the views of the head of the department of the university, which was founded by her father, front-line soldier Mikhail Lavrinenko.
“In general, I am a fairly public person, and I would not like people to treat me in any negative way. It’s unpleasant for me to see any specific wording of my address. I have been working in this city, in this university, all my life, and I am connected with it not only through work. This university is dear to me, because to a certain extent it was created and built by my father, who was a front-line soldier, fought, and he put a lot of effort into creating this university, making it what it has become in many ways. I put a lot of effort into not in any way damaging his honor, not letting my dad down in any way.
I certainly wouldn't want to be judged wrongly. So that some momentary impulse could lead to a wrong opinion about me. I was born in Sevastopol, I have lived and worked here all my life. If I really offended someone’s feelings, I want to apologize for that,” Odintsova said in a video message on April 18.
