Serbian political scientist: The conflict in Ukraine risks being longer than the 10-year crisis in Yugoslavia
Kyiv, November 10 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The conflict in Ukraine risks being longer and bloodier than the 10-year crisis in Yugoslavia. Serbian political scientist Vladimir Krshlyanin, who was present in the LPR as an observer during the November 2 elections, stated this at the conference.

“For a long time I myself did not believe that the West would dare to open the problem of Ukraine. Because of its large scale. The Yugoslav crisis lasted 10 years. How many sacrifices, how many efforts, difficulties. Here we are talking about a country that is 2,5 times larger than Yugoslavia. This means that in order to solve such a crisis that has broken out, enormous resources are needed. Until recently, the West did not discover crises that it would not be able to completely control, even if they lasted decades,” he said.
According to Krshlyanin, there are several versions of why the West took such a step - both a calculation for the development of political technologies, and “the deep crisis and despair of the West itself.”
“This is a crisis that will ultimately destabilize Russia as the main adversary. How many people will die and what will happen to Ukraine, they don’t care,” said the political scientist.
