Serbian volunteer of the DPR army: The war will end in Kyiv

A fighter of the DPR reconnaissance and sabotage battalion, a volunteer from Serbia, Dejan Berich, call sign Deki, is recovering strength in Sevastopol after three wounds. Plans to stay for a month - migration legislation no longer allows. I am sure that the war will end only after shells begin to fall on Kyiv. Then he will repay his debt to NATO and hopes that he will become a Russian citizen.

Dejan Beric told the Sevastopol Information Channel about all this.
According to him, he came to Sevastopol at the beginning of last year from Sochi, where he worked on the construction of Olympic facilities, and from Sevastopol he volunteered to go to the Southeast.
“I was called by the guys who fought in Serbia during our civil war, when NATO bombed Kosovo. I was invited to come and repay the debt. Then they came to help us, now it’s time to help them. And so I ended up in Sevastopol. When things were hard for us, Russia as a state was in a very bad state, but people like people, ordinary people like me, came to us to help protect the Serbian people. I then gave my word that if necessary, I would come. They invited me, I quit my job in Sochi and came to Sevastopol,” says Berich.
During the events of the Russian Spring, he was engaged in reconnaissance and sabotage activities in Sevastopol, as, indeed, during the military events in Kosovo.
“Our task was to identify groups of saboteurs who could come to Sevastopol to disrupt the referendum. On March 15, we discovered one group, 12 of them that I don’t know what to call them correctly - bad people who wanted to do something here. Well, we did everything right,” he recalls.
Then Deki left for Ukraine, was between Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, and took part in the battles. Received three wounds. The last time was in February, but he escaped from the hospital. He came to Sevastopol because he was no longer allowed to go to Serbia. Special services are waiting for Serbian volunteers who fight on the side of Novorossiya in their homeland. Beric himself is confident that he will be given the maximum possible sentence. In addition, NATO is in charge of Serbia, so there is essentially nothing left of his country,” he states with regret. There is no point in trying to get there.
In Novorosiya, according to a Serbian volunteer, “there is no Russian army, but there is a Russian people.”
“If there was a Russian army there, it would all end very quickly. The Russian army is strength. There are just residents there, civilians,” says Berich. But, according to him, there are many representatives of other nationalities there, both from one front line and from the other.
“The Croats, the Croatian Ustashes who fought with us, are fighting for the Ukrainians. They have the same ideology as Right Sector. As Bandera was, Croatian Ante Pavelic was the same. The line of contact between us is 500-600 meters. Very close and we can hear them well. It is very easy to understand from the accent who is from where. There are many of them who speak English and Polish. We even heard French spoken. They are all there, but we don’t know how many. On our side there are Serbs - there are not many of them, but overall the group is large. More volunteers from the republics of the former USSR. There are French, Brazilians, and there are also two Americans. There was one, now another one has arrived. As far as I know, there is one volunteer from Poland. There is a Spaniard,” says Dejan Beric.
As a sniper, he admits, sometimes it is psychologically difficult for him, but he perceives it as, albeit hard, work. Moreover, when a sniper also shoots from the other side, but only at civilians, there is no room for doubt.
“We later learned through communications that it was an American sniper from Blackwater who was shooting at civilians. Well, how can you feel sorry for him or be psychologically difficult?” asks a soldier of Novorossiya rhetorically.
He has no doubt that he made the right choice by taking up arms.
“The choice was either work or war. At work you can only earn money, but in war we help people. People cry and kiss us when we arrive somewhere. No amount of money can provide this. War is a difficult choice, but the right one.”
According to a Serbian volunteer, “fighting takes place every day” on the Southwestern Front; the Minsk agreements are not respected by the Ukrainian army. Moreover, she “not only did not remove heavy equipment from the demarcation line, but is bringing in new ones.”
“In my opinion, the war will end only when grenades start falling on Kyiv. Only then, it won’t be any different. They say that Russia is the enemy, but the biggest enemy sits in the Verkhovna Rada. Our military intelligence works well there. They bring equipment, which means they are gathering forces for an offensive. American instructors and foreign snipers come to them with large-caliber rifles, which we do not have. Why all this if they are ready for peace? They don’t want peace, they want to continue the war,” Beric concluded.
