Village and people: Erotic advertising in Ukraine
Users of social networks are actively discussing an advertising video launched in Ukraine with elements of eroticism, where in an unusual form they call on residents of the Chernivtsi region to pay off their heating debts.
The heroine of the video, a girl dressed in warm clothes, strokes herself to the music from the erotic film “Emmanuelle” and asks the viewer: “Are you cold? Alone? You cold? Is there no one to warm you up?"
“Chernivtsiheating network” – pay for heating!” - says a mechanic in overalls who suddenly appears in the frame, after which a “frozen” girl sitting near the battery asks in Russian to “call her” on the organization’s hotline.
The utility workers' creativity was praised by Andriy Kobolev, chairman of the board of the state-owned company Naftogaz of Ukraine, who shared the video on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This business of centralized heating is not so sad,” Kobolev commented.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine has accumulated enormous debts for gas from heating and power utilities (35,8 billion UAH) and for heating from households (14.8 billion UAH), which calls into question the possibility of a smooth winter season.
Naftogaz Ukrainy is doing nothing to solve the problem, trying to shift it to local councils.
